Town 77 (EN)
Design a colourful town one tile at a time, but avoid repeating a house style or colour where it does not belong. Town 77 turns a simple placement rule into a tightening puzzle shared by everyone at the table.
Players add tiles to a growing seven-by-seven grid. Each tile combines one of seven house styles with one of seven colours or patterns, and matching elements cannot sit in the same row or column. As spaces fill, the number of legal places for a particular tile begins to shrink.
Your hand matters just as much as the board. Choosing an easy placement now might leave you with a combination that will be difficult to fit later. Because opponents also change the shared grid, a promising location can vanish before your next turn. The challenge is to keep your options alive while others face the same squeeze.
Town 77 is an inviting choice for people who enjoy spatial logic and a little tactical interference. Its rules are quick to explain, but a crowded board rewards close observation. The published solo option lets you face the placement puzzle on your own, while group play adds the pleasure of watching plans collide.
