Place Targi figures on the outer border of the grid. When placements are complete, the crossing lines identify additional spaces in the centre that you can claim. Gather goods, trade resources and acquire tribe cards that strengthen your display and provide points.

The tension comes from what both players can see. Taking one border space blocks an opponent's plan while shaping your own intersections. Sometimes a valuable centre card is worth arranging your turn around; at other times you need basic resources to make future purchases possible. The available cards and the rival's choices change that balance each round.
