In Scythe, you lead one of those factions, developing its economy and expanding its presence through carefully timed decisions.

Your turns link production, movement and development into an increasingly efficient system. Gather resources, improve your actions, construct buildings, recruit support and deploy mechs to strengthen your position. Each faction begins with different advantages, encouraging you to discover an approach that suits both your abilities and the opportunities on the board.

Territory brings opportunity, but expansion also brings you closer to your rivals. Military strength can discourage an attack or support a decisive move, while economic development creates the resources needed to sustain your ambitions. Choosing when to invest, when to advance and when to confront another faction gives the game much of its tension.
