Qwixx (EN)

Every roll matters in Qwixx, even when someone else is holding the dice. This compact dice game asks players to fill four coloured rows on their score sheets while judging which numbers are worth locking in now.

The active player rolls six dice and may mark a result from the white dice before combining one white die with a coloured die for an additional mark. Other players can also use the shared white-dice result. Numbers in each coloured row must be crossed off from left to right, so skipping one can close off options later.

More marks in a row mean more points, but a useful roll does not always arrive when you need it. A missed opportunity may create pressure to take a poor combination on a later turn. The shared roll keeps everyone attentive as each player develops a different-looking sheet from the same dice.

Qwixx suits families and groups who enjoy quick arithmetic, risk management and constant participation. The rules are straightforward, yet every crossed-off number changes the future shape of your score. It is easy to play another round and test whether a more patient approach would have paid off.
