King of New York (EN)

Take your monster to the streets and fight to become the King of New York. This lively dice game expands the familiar giant-monster competition across several city districts, where fame, destruction and survival all matter.

Roll and reroll dice to choose between attacks, healing, energy, fame and other effects. Move through the boroughs, smash buildings and confront military units while watching for a chance to claim Manhattan. Power cards let you develop an especially unruly monster over the course of the game.

Manhattan brings opportunity and a target on your back. Staying there can earn points, but rivals have good reason to attack. Other districts offer ways to prepare or recover, so the smartest move depends on your health, the current leader and what the dice make possible.

King of New York suits groups who enjoy playful conflict and dramatic turns without a heavy rules burden. Different monsters and power cards give each game its own sequence of surprises. Whether you win by building fame or by being the last monster standing, expect the city to suffer along the way.
