Build a commercial network across the Roman world in Concordia. This economic strategy game rewards deliberate card play, careful expansion and a flexible response to the opportunities available on the map.
Use cards from your hand to move colonists, establish trading houses, produce goods and buy new cards. Played cards stay out of your hand until you take an action to retrieve them, giving your sequence of actions a rhythm. Building in another region opens new goods and possibilities, but every expansion costs resources.
Cards also shape final scoring, so an attractive purchase should fit both your current economy and the kind of network you are building. Opponents may reach key cities before you do, and the map's geography changes what a good route looks like. There is little direct conflict, yet a great deal of competition for timing and access.
Concordia suits players who enjoy elegant systems with substantial depth. Its turn structure is clean enough to follow, while the interactions among goods, cards and locations reward repeated play. A successful game feels like a series of well-timed decisions rather than one dramatic move.
