Codenames: Pictures, Second Edition (EN)

Find the secret agents among a grid of unusual illustrations. Codenames: Pictures, Second Edition trades single words for images with several possible interpretations, inviting teammates to discover how a clever clue links pictures that seem unrelated.

Two spymasters know which images belong to their teams. Each offers a one-word clue and a number, and their teammates discuss which pictures fit. A good clue reaches more than one friendly image; a bad guess can end the turn, aid the other team or reveal the assassin.

The pictures create a distinct challenge from word-based Codenames. One player may notice a tiny object in a corner while another responds to the overall scene. That gap between what the clue giver sees and what the team hears fuels discussion, surprises and the occasional wonderfully unexpected connection.

This refreshed edition brings an updated set of images and presentation to the familiar team game. It is a welcoming choice for groups who like visual puzzles and talking through competing interpretations. Every new layout asks you to see the artwork differently and trust your teammates to follow the same imaginative leap.
