Codenames: Fairy Tales Expansion Pack (EN)

Give your secret-agent clues a storybook twist with the Codenames: Fairy Tales Expansion Pack. This compact add-on introduces a themed selection of fifty words, drawing on familiar tales and the imaginative connections they can spark around the table.

Mix the new words into a copy of Codenames or Codenames: Duet, then play using the rules of that game. Clue givers still offer a single word and a number; their partners or teammates work out which cards the clue was meant to connect. New agent tiles and themed pictures add extra visual touches.

A word from a familiar story can be surprisingly risky when the grid also contains something that points toward an opponent or assassin. The appeal is finding clever links without leading your team astray. Because you choose which words to add, the expansion can refresh a well-used copy without changing its core rhythm.

This is an expansion and needs Codenames or Duet for play; it is not a standalone box. It suits returning players who want fresh vocabulary and new clue possibilities. The difficulty rating follows the underlying Codenames game rather than an independently rated expansion.
