Piece together a colourful quilt and make it irresistible to visiting cats. Calico is a tile placement puzzle in which every patch carries both a colour and a pattern, giving each choice several possible jobs to do on your personal quilt board.

On your turn, place a patch tile and take a new one from the shared market. Matching colours can earn buttons, while particular arrangements of patterns attract cats. At the same time, design goals ask you to satisfy specific combinations around key spaces on your board.

The challenge comes from making those ambitions coexist. A tile that completes a colour group may introduce the wrong pattern for a nearby cat, while saving a space for an ideal future patch can make your next few placements harder. As the quilt fills, each remaining gap becomes more significant.

Calico pairs a gentle theme with decisions that reward close attention. It suits players who enjoy spatial puzzles, overlapping scoring goals and the satisfaction of fitting one tile into exactly the right spot. The included solo mode offers the same careful quilt planning without opponents, while different objectives and cat requirements give returning players new combinations to consider.
