Humanity's future lies beyond Earth, and your faction wants to shape what comes next. Beyond the Sun combines technological discovery with space expansion, giving you an economy to develop and a network of distant systems to compete over as new possibilities emerge throughout the game.

The technology tree is shared, but progress is personal. Research opens new actions and leads towards further discoveries, with the first faction to reach a technology enjoying access before rivals catch up. Because technologies are revealed during play, you must respond to the opportunities available rather than follow exactly the same route every time.

Research needs support from a functioning economy. You will manage population and resources while deciding how much to invest in spacecraft, movement and colonization. A promising discovery can change your priorities, while another player's growing fleet may demand attention before your longer term plans are ready to pay off.

Achievements give the competition direction and help determine when it ends. Success comes from connecting your choices into a productive whole, whether you favour scientific development, expansion or a mixture of both. Beyond the Sun is a rewarding choice for players who enjoy technology trees, changing action options and deliberate strategic planning.
