Air, Land & Sea: Revised Edition (EN)

Fight for control of three theatres with only a small hand of cards and a keen sense of when to withdraw. Air, Land & Sea: Revised Edition turns a compact two-player card game into a tense series of tactical decisions.

On each turn, play a card into its matching theatre or use its alternate effect to upset the balance elsewhere. Face-up strength helps you win a theatre, while face-down placement preserves flexibility and can conceal an intention. You need to control two of the three theatres to claim a battle.

The unusual option is to retreat before the battle is finished. Withdrawing gives your opponent fewer points than a full defeat, so an apparently weak position is not always worth defending. Reading the other player's remaining cards and deciding whether your own hand can recover becomes a central part of the contest.

Revised Edition keeps the approachable format while rewarding careful timing over several rounds. It suits two players who enjoy tactical card play, bluffing and the choice between taking a risk and cutting a loss. Its short sessions make it easy to swap sides and test a different approach right away.
