Lead an astronaut crew through a sequence of increasingly demanding missions in The Crew: The Quest for Planet Nine. This cooperative trick-taking game asks everyone to play their cards with a shared goal, even though ordinary conversation about hands is restricted.

Each mission sets tasks that particular players must complete by winning the right tricks. Follow suit when possible and consider when to play a strong card, hold a useful one or let a teammate take the lead. Limited communication offers a small way to signal information without simply showing your hand.

The puzzles become more interesting as task combinations change. A card you could easily win may be disastrous if somebody else needed that trick, and a teammate's surprising play may be an attempt to set up a later success. If a mission fails, the crew can try again with a better understanding of the timing.

The Crew works well for groups that enjoy partnership card games and learning through short attempts. Its compact rounds make repeated missions natural, while the campaign structure provides a sense of progress. The best moments arrive when the whole table realizes, without explaining aloud, exactly what must happen next.
